CPUI Certification Pathway
After completing the education and meeting the experience requirements, including eight hours of education, 24 PICC insertions, and a competency review, the clinician may apply for the Certified PICC Ultrasound Inserter examination.
A score of 80% or higher on the proctored examination supports award of the CPUI credential and inclusion in the official PICC Excellence CPUI registry.
